- Copy certificate issued 3 November 2006. John, a bachelor, is a plasterer aged 25 residing at Escomb. Mary, a spinster also 25 has no occupation resided at Etherley. Witnesses were Llewellyn Williams and
Joseph Forster. John's father John Close Forster is a brakesman and Mary's father David a miner is deceased. On the same day Eleanor Hopwood my 1st cousin 2 x removed married James Acon. I suspect that the marriage took place at the same churchm possible on the same day.
