His described as a Carrier. Hers described as a Miner. Edward's age is 33 and Maria's age is 26. Maria's age does not tie in with her age in the 1871 Census, so either certificate is for wrong couple or Maria was overstating her age. The various censuses ages do tie in with her date of birth.

  	Copy certificate issued 26 March 2008 shows Annie (rather than Ann) Maria Williams aged 23 a domestic servant whose father is David Williams deceased miner, and Harry 27 confectioner whose father is John Braithwite deceased farmer. Both parties were living at 39 Barley Street, Leeds. One of the witnesses is her sister Alice Williams. This is the only marriage between an A M Williams and a Mr Braithwaite I have been able to find. Despite calling herself Annie I believe it is the correct person.

His father James Holt was an actor and his mother was Margaret Ann Holt nee Pritchard. He is marrying Ann Maria Horner 67 of no occupation who was widowed on 9 April 1944 and who was born at Escombe, Co. Durham. Her father was David Williams a draper and her mother Maria Williams nee Phillpott. NOTE the occupation of her father is incorrect as he was a miner.
