Census says she is a widow aged 57, Robert Henry 28 coal miner, Llewellyn 23 shoemaker, John 21 general labourer at colliery, Daniel 20 blacksmith's apprentice & Maud 14.

  	The online records show that he was a Private with the Prince of Wales's (North Staffordshire Regiment) 1/5th Battalion aged 40 at death. His Service No. was 48282. He is recorded on Panel 8 of the Ploegsteert Memorial but probably has no known grave.

His described as a Carrier. Hers described as a Miner. Edward's age is 33 and Maria's age is 26. Maria's age does not tie in with her age in the 1871 Census, so either certificate is for wrong couple or Maria was overstating her age. The various censuses ages do tie in with her date of birth.
